rh-postgresql-server: The programs needed to create and run a PostgreSQL server.

Name:rh-postgresql-server Vendor:Scientific Linux
Version:7.3.18 License:BSD
Release:1 URL:http://sources.redhat.com/rhdb/
Summary
The postgresql-server package includes the programs needed to create and run a PostgreSQL server, which will in turn allow you to create and maintain PostgreSQL databases. PostgreSQL is an advanced Object-Relational database management system (DBMS) that supports almost all SQL constructs (including transactions, subselects and user-defined types and functions). You should install postgresql-server if you want to create and maintain your own PostgreSQL databases and/or your own PostgreSQL server. You also need to install the postgresql package.

Changelog

* Sun Feb 4 18:00:00 2007 Tom Lane <tgl{%}redhat{*}com> 7.3.18-1
- Update to PostgreSQL 7.3.18 to fix CVE-2007-0555
Resolves: #225493
- Note: postgresql-7.3-spinlock.patch no longer needed, as patch was
  applied upstream awhile back; ditto postgresql-7.3-ssl-leak.patch.
  postgresql-7.3.4-security.patch was long since applied upstream too;
  looks like we've been inserting a useless test into a different loop...
* Fri Jun 23 19:00:00 2006 Tom Lane <tgl{%}redhat{*}com> 7.3.15-3
- Stop SSL memory leak (back-port of PG 7.4 bug fix) (bz #196040)
* Mon May 22 19:00:00 2006 Tom Lane <tgl{%}redhat{*}com> 7.3.15-2
- Respin with non-fuzzy patch to get rid of ".orig" files sneaking into
  the package
